Max Fleischer-Animator
Max Fleischer is a well-known animator who got started at a young age. He has a lot of popular animations that have been watched over the years by many people. Some of his well-known animation characters are: Betty Boop, Popeye the Sailor Man, and Gulliver's Travels. He got together with his brother in 1927 and co-founded Inkwell Studios and Red Sea Pictures Corporation.

Norman McLaren-Animator
Norman McLaren is a very well-known animator in the history of animation. Some of his pieces that he is well-known for are "Neighbours" (1952), and a "Chairy Tale" (1957). He got interested in animation at a young age after switching his major from interior design at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.

Nick Hilligoss-Animator
Nick Hilligoss is a well known animator, best known for his stop animation. He has worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for about 19 years. He first worked a model maker then transitioned into a scene artist as well as a designer. One of his well-known stop animations is known as, "L'Animateur" also called, "Adam and Eve"

Jules Engel-Animator
Jules Engel is a well-known animator that started out in the animation business in 1930, when he took over in Walt Disney studios to replace Oskar Fischinger. Jules Engel's popular work includes, "Gerald McBoing-Boing", "Mr. Magoo", "The Alvin Show", and "Icarus Montgolfier Wright"

Cathie Bleck-Illustrator
Cathie Bleck is a very respected artist, and is very well-known for her distinctive inscratchboard and kaolin clay board. Her work is very similar to worldblock printing. Her work as been exhibited in over 50 exhibitions internationally and her work has been seen in the NY Times, The New Republic, and U.S. postage stamps.

John Hubley-Animator
John Hubley was born in 1914 in Wisconsin, he has worked on many animations and he is pretty well-know for his work. Some of his famous work was helping out with the movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1939, and he also was the creator of "Mr.Magoo."

Chuck Jones-Animator
Chuck Jones is a very well-known animator that did work in his career for around 60 years. Some of his well-known work (popular) work was when he worked for Warner Bros. and brought to life characters like, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Pepe le Pew, and many others, he also wrote many screenplays for the Dr. Seuss stories. Alberto Cerriteno-Illustrator/Animator
Alberto Cerriteno is a Mexican Illustrator and animator who has lived in Portland for four years. He is inspired by urban vinyl toys, alternative cartoons, and the pop surrealism movement. His art has been recognized by many popular progressive art institutions such as, Juxtapoz, Create, Drawn!, The Little Chimp Society, Computer Arts, Communication Arts, and IDN.

Stefan G. Bucher
Stefan G. Bucher is both a well-known animator/ illustrator. He is originally from Germany and is currently living in California where he earned his degree from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1996.
